    anyone know of a sat nav system that can be put into a vehicle and if that vehicle need to be located or lost or stolen then it can be found,i would have thought rent a car companies would use them, i need to track say about 100 vehicles

    I know there are systems around that are designed to be used by Parents and such to keep track of where their kids are driving and such, but those are generally designed to be used to track maybe 1 or 2 cars. They might be able to scale it up to 100 cars, but I wouldn't know.

    You'll probably need to contact the companies that do that and see if they would have to ability to do what you need. Sadly, I can't remember the names of these companies off the top of my head. A google search would probably turn a couple up.

    Try a few trucking companies. I believe there's a way to track a few hundred vehicles in real time.
