    The wife wants a GPS for Christmas, that said being that I am a bit old school I have no idea which would be best. The few people I have spoken with have told me to go with either a Garmin or a Magellen and stay away from the Tom-Tom as it is junk. Any thoughts?

    Garmin, get a Garmin. It has the best interface. The TomTom's is rather cheap looking, and Garmin's POIs are 2nd to none
