@Luke, Thanks ..... oh yes they will!!! @Graham, Thanks for posting the link! You will have to take Tina's word for it,.... I can only say that it looks totally different in real!!! I sure hope you won't need an ambulance @Eric, Thanks a lot
I can only tell you what I have experienced when other's saw their own drawing for the first time They light up in a big smile and expresses a WOW... and tells that it's totally different when you see it... much more detailed that they thought etc. Actually I did that myself too A drawing of my father's MG TA from 1938 was actually the reason why Carsten and I met in the first place
Wow I like your work. I like drawing ,too . That's my work ....hope u enjoy Image Unavailable, Please Login
carsten its fantastic! have been watching the progress step by step and i cant even find the right words to say , you are a star
Thank you so much, all of you!!! Update 15........and getting closer I have attached also the first pic of the drawing for comparison!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Carsten, I notice that you don't use cross hatching as a shading technique, any reason why? David Goerndt
@David, Oh yes I do, but not only cross hatching, and I rarely use it on the car itself! I use to let all lines in the drawing of the car follow the shape of any particular part of the car.....if it's a round shape, the lines in the drawing will be round as well, if you know what I mean!!! Cross hatching is used for almost the entire wall in this drawing Also part of the reason why I don't use cross hatching for the cars is the fact that I do my drawings with tusch, and only a small mistake in the cross hatching would be a dark spot on the drawing, so I use the technic I have always used....it works pretty well for me that way! Best regards Carsten
As usual great drawing! Just love the detail on that rear wheel! Its really great that you share the drawings with us here on fchatt! Lukas
@Lukas, Thanks my friend, You really are also a great talent that I hope to see more drawings from soon!!! Best regards Carsten
Carsten, Yes, I see you do. Do you use a quill pen or do you use a technical pen? Its been a while since I did any ink drawings, like you said, any mistakes are hard to hide! best David
@david, I'm not sure what it is.... but I took this photo of my pen and one with a close look at the tip of the pen!!! I hope it can help you!!! I always used these Pilot Drawingpens.....they are genious, and wonderful to work with!!!! Best regards Carsten Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ok, I see, I use those also, different brand, but similar design and tip size. I've used some pens that the ink wasn't archival, it turned brown after a few years! Keep up the good work. David
Hi everyone.....just wanted to let you know that next update will be tomorrow!!! I have been extremely busy the last couple of days, so I have had very little time for the drawings.....but tomorrow it will be continued for sure!!! Best Carsten
