I just got home from the New Jersey Motor Sport race track in Millville, NJ. It is a great track with easy access to the cars and drivers. It is also a great track to walk around during the race. There is no such thing as a pit pass and you can walk right up to the garages and track. It rained hard and steady all day but it was great to be there to hear and see everything. It reminded me of going to the Glen in the 70s. Dress for the weather and wimps need not attend. On Friday, although I have never seen him on TV, I spoke with Patrick Dempsey. He is a very cool guy and when he saw my Ferrarichat.com hat he asked me if I owned one. I said yes and he quite proudly told me he just bought a 72 Daytona. All I could say was wow and I hope you drive it often and hard. He smiled and said he would. I didn't see any Ferraris but there were several Porsches and one Lambo.
