Rolex road racer John McCutchen is also an officer in our construction firm based in our Dallas office. John recently piloted the Texas Heart Institute / GoPro Porsche to a solid run at the Daytona 24 hour with co-driver Davey Jones from Indycar.

John's team is Godstone Ranch Motorsports, founded by his wife Karen, who's mission is to raise awareness and funding for the Texas Heart Institute.

One of the race weekend activities they support and promote is their "Pit Party" program.
In essence, a group can arrange, organize, host and manage invites to our own pit party in conjunction with the race weekend. Via donations, charging admission, silent auctions, tee shirt sales or anything else we dream up (well maybe not anything) funds collected are then donated to the Heart Institute. Drivers and celebrities from our team and others will join our party.

For the upcoming races, Godstone Racing has partnered with Gusipi Risi and Risi Competizione based out of Ferrari of Houston and John will be driving the new FERRARI 458 #62 GT class car. This combination has an excellent chance to produce a front running podium effort.

The series comes to Indianapolis Motor Speedway to run the road course on Friday July 27 before the Brickyard 400. They are also here in early July for a test session.

I am checking to see if any Ferrari fans here would like to join us in our Tower Terrace Hospitality Suite for a high quality Fundraising Event organized by Hunt Construction Group and Midwest Sportscar Club and enjoy a great day of racing activities. Admission to the event is $150 per person, of which $70 will be tax deductible as the donation portion that will be presented to the American Heart Association. Please visit www.godstoneranchmotorsports.com and look them up on FB.
    Godstone is a 501 (C) (3) organization.

This would make both a car guy day or a corporate outing if you have clients that you would like to entertain. We have catered lunch included, and are working on a car corral for our attendees who wish to bring a special car.

Please let me know if you are interested in joining us for this great event.

Thanks to Rob for graciously allowing us to mention this event here and in the Indiana section.

Here is the new car, on display last week at the F1 Expo in Austin:

Thanks Mike. Send me an email about where you posted it so that I am aware if anyone calls. I have a fantastic flyer about ready to post, but the American Heart Association is still reviewing for final approval. I'll add that later, it contains additional info like Paypal or check methods, some guest info, etc.

We have about 40 tickets spoken for, 60 more available.

By the way, our suite is in a great area for this race, north end of the main straight in the braking zone for turn 1, then out the rear of the suite you can see most of the infield road course.

    Quick update;
The #62 Ferrari 458 "Hearts" car may not make it's debute in Indy, but we're still having our day at the track fundraiser suite party either way. There are other Ferrari teams, plus with the Vettes, BMW, Audi, etc teams it should be easy to find someone to pull for. :)

The drivers from Godstone Ranch, plus other Grand-Am and NASCAR drivers will attend our party and we're planning to make it a memorable day.

    Again,
If interested, please submit $150 per person. About $70 of this will be tax deductible. You can do this by cash, check or credit card. Contact me for the first two options, if by CC go to: http://godstoneranchmotorsports.com/pledges/Godstone_Ranch_Pledges.htm
and click on the Option #1 link to post your donation via PayPal. You can then print out your receipt to let me know you did so and I'll get your tickets to you in the manner you perscribe.

Our suite is in the Tower Terrace section, overlooks the braking zone for road course turn 1 and most of the infield section can be seen from our balcony. This is a great way to see a race and be able to entertain guests. We have room for about 120 folks. More details in the attached event flyer. See you on RACE DAY!

We are beginning now to distribute the tickets to those who have paid for their spots that will gain you access to the grounds and to the suite. If you are interested but have not yet rsvp'd for attending please do so to give us time to mail your tickets and set the final count for the caterers. We have added a selection of light breakfast pastries in addition to the included lunch for those who might be able to come early.

Your Tower Suite ticket will include limited infield parking. IMS has told me that suite ticket holders are to enter via Gate #10 on 30thStreet, however since the track layout uses part of the infield roads, parking is more limited than during the oval races. They may close that gate at some point if the infield fills up, leaving off-site parking as you option. If you are driving a specialty car, numerous car clubs have established brand specific car corrals that you can find on-line or by calling IMS if you’d like to sign up for one as another parking option and have your car on display during the day.

Recently we have added support from PRS Guitars for our event. PRS is a corporate sponsor of the Grand-Am series, and is holding a free post race concert as things wrap up at 7:15 PM. In addition to a number of driver meet and greet sessions thru out the day, PRS’ concert front man Davy Knowles will be joining us. PRS will have guitars and equipment sent to our suite so that anyone so inclined can play during the day, and maybe we can coax Davy into some previews.

Finally, we can make available from Godstone Racing a rare opportunity to secure a few Hot Pit Passes. These come with a $200 premium for anyone wishing to buy one. This pass allows you to be in a team’s pit box during the actual race. These passes are specific to a person due to liability, so we cannot unfortunately rotate a pass among our guests. These passes are not available to the general public and would make for a very exciting option if you would like to purchase one. A one year membership to Grand-Am is included with purchase of this pass. Supply is very limited so please inquire.

Your current event participation does include cold pit lane access; that will be handled from the suite via transferable passes that we can rotate all thru-out the day.

Remember that Davy Jones will be one of our special guests in the suite. If you have old photos or memorabilia it would be a good chance to get autographs.

Thank you for your support of what is shaking out to be a great event. Good $$ being collected for the American Heart Association.
