    Back in the eighties Automobile Quarterly was selling the iconographic horseshoe shaped ash trays from the restaurant. I may still have mine somewhere.

    My Two Lives was co-authored by Beverly Rae Kimes (sp) of Automobile Quarterly fame.

    That's a very special ash-tray you have. I know about them, but have never seen one.

    Rene was a very special person. I met him first in the Hetherlands, he came from the french GP, in 1984, IIRC. At his ripe old age, he still managed to drive a lap with the then current Renault F1 car.
