I said that they should disqualify his times for the session and thus he should be starting 10th, not 22nd. Still not great, but an improvement nonetheless.

Is this on Speed? I wish they would show some consistency with the showing times once in a while..

Actually starting 11th would be better as they can play with fuel loads, 1-10 can not. Starting from the pits allowed for an engine change without any additional penalty.

Even if MS did what they said, the race will suck for the audience.

I hope somehow (maybe cars falling out of the race) Michael makes a heroic run and ends up on the podium or close. Wouldn't be the first time he's started low and finished high. A middle finger to the haters, who are ALWAYS looking for a way to hate MS.

Let's see, 22nd to 5th, in Monaco no less, fastest lap of the race. The winner did not come in first today.

    I agree. Well done Schumi.

Glad to see that he never gave up.

Alonso is going to blow an engine at Silversone, and MS will win. Points gap will be 11 then.

It was a nice result for him - definitely showed more talent than final session qualifying. :D

I'm just happy to see that Ferrari kept their heads and cars in the game instead of pulling them in protest like so many here were wishing.

    Ditto.

Pulling the cars would have hurt their sponsors, cost them millions in fines towards Bernie and 5 valuable points in the title chase. They did the right thing.
