man, i just bought the November Forza last week and I thought it was relatively new. Hopefully I will be able to find the December one soon. Does the GranSport Spyder keep the carbon fiber tonneau cover that was on the 90th Anniversary Spyder? Is the pic I included a picture of it? This was from the 05 Frankfurt auto show. If that is the car I don't think it has the carbon fiber tonneau cover but it still looks very good. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It is a beautiful car. How much will they go for? Having never driven the GS but have driven the regular Spyder, I have read that the GS is more smooth in shifting and steering ( less body roll according to EVO ) and was also told this by the local dealer. That true? I actually like the zippy and clunky F1 feel of the older car. If the GS Spyder runs way over 100K, that seems like it is a weak alternative to a 911 Turbo convertible, DB9 or SL55. Besides, the GS drivers will have to content with Vette drivers putting their Ferrari-like ride to shame. That is case out here in Chicagoland at least, where nice drives have to venture out towards Wisconsin to avoid the Stangs and Rice for a nice cruising day. Yet for the price Im guessing the GS would have, would rather hear the rumble of the Benz or DB9 ( which has the sweetest sounding stock exhaust note I ever heard, ) and much better performance. When I was in my Spyder, the last thing I was worried about was the 30 Corvettes I saw on my typical drive. Also there was C5 Targa Corvette that tried to keep up with me on the highway but wasn't having much luck. Also the Maserati sounds amazing at higher revs. I've never heard a DB9 but I think it sounds better than most Benz's (except the SL55)
