Articl in this magazine (may also have a different title in some markets) lists the 308 as one of the top investments cars for 2005!!!

Then they have no clue of the collector car market! The 308 was a high production entry level Ferrari that will not likely appreciate, although it's value may level off in the low $20k range and stay there for a long time.

I saw a '76 glass car, white with blue interior, sell in the Robb Report for $115K in '87........

I think any of the early 308s left, not burned to the ground by neglect, will eventually be worth something...........probably about what I paid, excluding intensive constant maintenance and restoration!! LOL!

I know they are only 8 cylinders, Frank.

I'd better diversify with a few Boxers........

I think the only dividend is called.........FUN!

I know this is gonna be real hard Frank but only if you total ALL years of 308/328 production together do you approach anything resembling "high volume"..........and this is only in comparision to OTHER Ferraris..

When compared to say....... a like year's Camaro/Firebird production.....Ferraris are still......if not rare, certainly uncommon...

Cavallino's Market Guide lumps them together, for instance '77 - '79, but in fact we all know there are MAJOR differences and desirability within that range........

Too bad we all passed on that god-awful entry level Dino a few years back. I would hate to have that paltry 6 cylinder now. :)
