    I love this forum for the technical knowledge and passion of the members and I got so many good tips from all of you before ordering my car but let's not forget that the fascination we have with these cars remains in what we can do with them….I want to see picture or videos of your great drives (or your cars in amazing places).

    I was lucky enough last WE to do the Stelvio in perfect conditions (dry and totally empty road) with friends in their cars and my 4 month old Spider. The following day as you will see on the last picture, they had 3 inches of snow…
    The first picture was taken by a photographer who sits in corners and offers drivers to buy pictures on his website.
    The last 3 pictures were taken by a nice chap, Ferrarista from Canada, member of Ferrari North America who happened to climb the Stelvio that day with a Colnago Ferrari bike….(he gave me his card at our lunch break in the lower part of the Stelvio)

    I don't know if the best memory is the view or the sound...

    Very nice, looks like a lean and mean beast sitting on the ground. Roads around Geneva are not all perfect…you would leave your front bumper behind if you were to drive your car around here….as you know :)

    Not sure if it was an amazing drive but sure a crazy story....

    It was the fourth of July and stupidly it is the day I want to go for a drive. I leave my LA house at 7am to go to my Malibu house.... All is good, pushed the car a little, on clear roads I was going nearly 120 and everything was cool. Did not see many cops surprisingly. I spend a few hours making sure everything in Malibu is set up for the fourth and around 10:30am I start my journey back to LA... The speed limit on the Pacific Coast Hwy switches to 45mph around the shopping area. I was slowing down and was going around 60. And of course the highway patrol gets me and I pull over. The cop was very nice, and informed me that he has a quota he has to meet today, so I was just the unlucky one. He said having a red Ferrari switching lanes was an easy catch for him lol. He ends up giving me a Fix-It ticket for no plates. I am ok with that and go on my way.

    I put the car back and in my dead decide I will not drive it again that day because cops are out to get people. BUT a friend came into town and of course convinced me to take him around for a "quick drive."

    And yes, my worst nightmare happens again. I am going speed limit and I spot a cop car behind me. I am not doing anything when they saw me, and I really mean it! The cop car puts on his lights and I pull over AGAIN. The two cops give me ****, for "reckless driving" etc etc.... They go back to their car and come back and start talking about impounding the car because of my driving. Then me and my friend are trying as hard as we can to get out of this situation. They start laughing to each other and tell us they are f**king with us and they just wanted to see the car.... At that point I am SO relieved. I tell them to pull into the parking lot near by and ill let them sit in it. So we pull in. The cops were cool, I am assuming new, and get in and I allow them to rev the car and take pics etc.... Everyone at the local starbucks were staring at these cops getting in my car and rev'ing it, a pretty humorous sight.

    Me and my friend leave back to my house as we have to go to Malibu for the rest of the day. When I am about to head out to Malibu(not in a Ferrari), I get a call form the gate and my house woman says it's two cops who came because of numerous complaints.... I freak out and go to deal with the situation outside and of all people..... The two cops are standing at my door! They wanted a ride.... Insane, I took them around my community and we all exchanged numbers and informed me if I had any trouble with any cops to give them a shout.

    I am sure some of you will frown upon this but I really enjoyed letting them appreciate the car with me. I will for sure be hitting them up if I get pulled over for anything silly :)

    Anyway, attached are some pics from this weekend, not a crazy drive but a crazy story haha.

    Some pictures from my trip to Maranello (factory visit). Took the Stelvio pass on my way south and Gotthard-, Furka- and Grimsel-pass on my way back.
