    Adam Berlin hosted us this morning for breakfast at Tesla - great turn out! including Baron - world's most photogenic dog & mascot for Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, Brett David owner of Prestige, Ian Grunes of Rossion, Ronnie Vogel of FMFL, Jason Wenig of Creative Workshop, Fred Burton & Halle, RJ Hunt & Bill Mazzoni of My Smokin Ride - just to name a few of South Florida's top car guys all stopped by. Great event - thanks Adam!

    I was surprised how fast that Tesla was. I drag-raced someone in his 625hp Viper SRT10 with the Tesla and won! It was nice to have something to compare it to as you otherwise don't know how fast you're going in such a quiet car!

    That is what I thought of the Tesla after driving it.
    I felt comfortable with it within the first couple hundred yards and then it was pure addiction...Very nice!

    I know I should be a fan of this car but my heart just isn't in it without the sound. The roar of the engine is such an integral part of a sports car experience I just can't fall for something so soulless.

    I'd buy that Ford GT in Gulf livery 10 times before I'd buy the Tesla. That said, I am intrigued by the Fisker hybrid that is supposed to come out one of these days/months/years.

    I thought last year they were on the verge of going out of business after some
    high profile crash..... I just assumed they were gone by now

    I borrowed a roadster for the weekend Anthony and even after I drove it home I felt the same way - but yesterday I took it for a spin & now I get the car - the silence is a wonderful thing, the acceleration is blistering and it just keeps pulling - you never lift it just keeps goes so fast & after all its a Lotus Elise on steroids with better fit and finish.

    I can say I get the car! with luck it will be evolution in automotive history.

    Company has ome strange corp culture a founder named Musk who says he is tapped out - an infusion from Toyota - dont pretend to understand any of it - drive one!

    Not buying one though - I am going to maintain my carbon footprint.
