Speaking of "Mulholland Drive", the scene where Rebekah Del Rio sings "Crying" in Spanish and then collapses. Goosebumps there. RMX
i'm restarting this thread here, but the ending sequence in ...and justice for all is one of the greatest endings in any movie ever and the scene at the dealership in scarface after tony montana'***** was foiled
One of the best movie moments for me is the recent movie, World Trade Center. When they are buried underneath the ground and when (Cage) is slowly drifting away, but his wife keeps him alive and also when he just got to the hospital, and she runs into him and how he said she was the reason he is alive. Good movie and very touching througout. John
For some reason, I wound up rolling off the couch laughing when the pirates (in the '83 film of Joe Papp's version of Pirates of Penzance) suddenly donned bowler hats ... recreating a scene from A Chorus Line (also from Joe Papp). Other classic moments: - The Daytona screaming through the NYC echo chamber in the early morning. - "What's-a behind me is not important". - "What Knockers!" "Vy, thank you doktor" - "Put - the - candle - back!" - "Blucker!" - "One day, maybe we-a do you too." "And when we get done, nobody gonna recognize-a you." - "Can't I stay, boss? Whenever I leave, I fall behind." - "... and don't call me `Shirley'". On the serious front, the exchange between Jeffords and Cochise at the end of the 1950 Broken Arrow: It's been a long time since Hollywood could portray a debate where you could sympathize with both viewpoints.

"I'm worried about the threat of escalation." "Escalation?" " We buy semi automatics, they buy machine guns. We start wearing kevlar, they buy armour piercing rounds". "And?" " And, you are running aruond with a cape jumping off rooftops. Take this guy for example, double homocide, like you, a taste of the theatrical. He left a calling card for you". " I'll look into it." " I never had a chance to thank you" " And you'll never have you"..
vanishing point, the end crash scene the 25th hour, the last scene where the photographer is making anthony quinn smile and the most disgusting; the scene in john waters' pink flamingos where divine eats the doggie do do.
And when I get off the phone, call up Hyman. Tell him I want it wall to wall with John Daniels. Uh, don't you mean, uh, Jack Daniels ? He may be Jack to you, son. But when you've known him as long as I have -- That's a joke. Hello ! This is Lt. Col. Frank Slade. I would like a limo, : . What are you drinkin' ? Uh, nothing, thanks. I don't use it. What's useful about it ? --- Scent of A Woman

"Kinda grabs you by the booboo don't it?..." - Cheech and Chong Up In Smoke The entire beginning scene with the two of them in car just kills me... hilarious!

Josey - just when I get to likin' someone they ain't around long Chief - Ah ha Chief - I've also noticed when you get to dislikin' someone they ain't around long neither. I justed watched The Pursuit of Happyness, and it was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. There was a lot of heart in the movie, and watching it really makes you appreciate everything you have. Moreover, the few minutes after he is given the job at Dean Witter.... that was some real genuine acting.
And the scene in Miami Vice where their on the highway in the 430 spider with the blue flames coming out of the exhaust. Theres some killer angles in that minute!

A great movie moment from the 1990's? (Not the best movie ever, but it fulfills my need for action) Die hard 2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZXVVGUzWSs It's the final bit of die hard 2, where the guy gets sucked into the 747's engine, and then he blows the plane up! What a ripper
The last scene in "The Sting" deserves honorable mention, whoever saw that coming? (I'll never forget the reaction that scene had on the audience in the theatre to that scene).
