    Please give me your opinion

F12. Great comfort compared to "hardcore versions" of and from your profile, 458 challenge sounds like the ideal track day car!

    Either is a winner
Just depends if you prefer mid or front engine cars

From a 430 Scud I would say go for the 458 special edition(am sure it wont be called montecarlo)

F12. From what I've read about the car and based on its specs, it's fast enough and handles well enough for track days, yet would be great on long trips, too.

A 458 can do this also, if optioned to include "GT" amenities like cruise control (which is standard on an F12), rear parking sensors and/or camera (for parking), etc., and while relatively practical for what it is, for me it would attract too much attention (because of its mid-engine configuration/styling) to drive it in more of an everyday fashion as the OP describes. Of course, if you want or don't mind the extra attention, then the 458 would be fine.

The more track oriented version of a 458 ("Monte Carlo"? "Scuderia"?) would not suit both roles as well as a 458 Italia or Spider, if it is anything like the 430 Scuderia compared to the "standard" 430. To save weight and be more single-purposed for track performance, the Monte Carlo/Scuderia will likely lack the "GT" options/features availabe on the regular 458.

Congratulations on your choice of either car.

I enjoy taking short trips with my wife.
She loved the 599, then I traded it for the Scud (fell in love with it at Mt Tremblant).
One trip in it and from that moment I could enjoy it only by myself, she did not appreciate the bare bones interior, noise and sound of every pebble hitting the floor.
    F12 only.....

It really depends on what you want.

The F12 is a GT but it feels just like the 458 when you drive it. I'm sure the MC will be really hardcore with little creature comfort but a lot of performance.

You need to figure out what is more important to you.

Me--- I don't like the hardcore stuff for street driving. If I tracked the car, the MC all the way.

The MC is going to look like a boy racer. The F12 looks like a beautiful woman.

For me... The woman wins hands down. :)

Well, I had as you a C63 for trips around Europe. Than I tried a Ferrari FF and fell in love with it. Bought a white one that I received in June 2012 and use it for almost 16,000 km since new. Almost never used the C63 again. The FF IS SO PERFCT...
Had a F12 for a week-end and the FF is so alike and have places for 4 big people and 4 weels drive when necessary.
Will sell my C63 this week. My friend has a 458 and he prefers my FF.
