My wife and I have just arrived home to Beaufort after driving our Modena 775 miles up to Greenville, Julies beautiful estate and the Highlands. The car performed flawlessly. I did have one little mishap where I misjudged an entrance to a parking lot and raked the rocker panels,,, ouch!!!
There were approx. 25 Ferraris' at Julies which I want to thank her and Pres. Scott for putting on a fine show and event. What hospitality. And the ride up to the Highlands with Dave leading the way. Someone referred to the run as a "mini tale of the dragon". There's nothing like a train of Ferraris' roaring down the road. Most motorists politely moved over and gave us the big wave as we passed. Too cool! After dinner the run back down was little more sedate but speeds over the century mark were still achieved. There was one 360 that didn't make it back down and one with a glutch issue but all in all everything was perfect.
Thanks again to Julie and David. And thanks to Karl Troy at European Road and racing for providing me with one of the hottest and best sounding 360's out there. You're the man.
Any one want to race. GC
