went and look at and drove the green 550 at auto sport design yesterday .Tom was very nice and help full , I'm deciding which to buy in the future ,this is what I got out of it I don't fit in the 308-328 or 355- Like the 6 sp vs f1 so the 550 is going to be my car it seems more like a ferrari should be not to many electronics ie.. f1, his car drove great all up on the maint and clean , but that color!!!I know it will be one of a kind ,but so would purple! It was a learnig exp for me from a very helpful and knowlegdeable buisness man , he ans all my questions and offered his opionions when asked ,Some one I would look to do buisness with in the future . Oh, it's not that bad!

Just list it for sale now so in 3-4 years when you really do want to sell it, the requisite time would have passed.

Well it doesn't have a quilted headliner, and I don't think the shift console is carbon, although the knob is.

I wouldn't have a problem with green if it were a keeper, but resale would be tough.

I like the dark green. I also like blue interiors (not in a green car). Unfortunately, I share my taste with very few others. If you are going to keep the car, go for it. If you tire easily and flip a lot of cars, do not buy a green 550.

Let's say you wanted to do a full take apart, bare metal repaint (fully documented to show that it was done for cosmetic reasons and not due to accident). 1. Any idea as to the cost? 2. What would be the change in value, given the color wasn't original?

    looks really nice.

I'm curious about the 'special order paint to sample BRG' since this color was in the Ferrari color line up as an option (the description makes it sound like it isn't and that a paint sample was used to order).

    Brian,

I guess there are different shades of BRG. My 1969 MGB's BRG was certainly different than the BRG on the 70s B-types. I suppose the original owner specified a particular shade of British Racing Green.

Perhaps Barry, you could be right. It's hard to tell from photos, it does look slightly different, but I'm really wondering if it's true or not. If the color wasn't offered, I could see it. I'm sure you're probably correct in this case, but wanted to put it out there (I had one of the dealer color matching kits and it had BRG in it).

Interesting to see views on Verde Inglesse back in the day. Trendy colour now I guess.
