hey all just thought id introduce myself.....names simon and i live in belfast northern ireland! i just bought a 02 360m, red with black 10k, my 2nd 360 and am very pleased with it so far....my last being a 99 silver left hand drive (alot cheaper over here but hard to overtake in).
i am an american car nut....had a c6 vet, srt viper and ram, saleen stang, 70 challanger etc etc all of which are very rare over here as they are not officially sold.....for example a to get a new gt500 imported will cast the same as a used ferrari 360!
the other bum is gas...ours is currently at $9 per gallon ie $160 to fill my 360!!sucks!!
apart from that irelands a great place to live with some fantastic roads and if any of you are visiting drop me an email and i'll buy you a guinness when you get here!!!
ps no pics of my 360 yet as i only just got her but heres a couple of pics to keep u amused....first one is my mustang gt350 hertz i was doing up all winter!!
second one is my last classic american car....a 66 coronet with a ray barnet built v8 (600 horse)
third is my favorite place, a castle on the north coast with some amazing roads to get there.
last is a pic of me....the ugly one on the left!!!
thanks for reading....hope to be on the forum alot!
    take care

9 dollars a gallon? And i thought $1.30 a liter was bad. Hmm

Greetings from Donegal :) I have no Ferrari's to speak of as yet but I do have an IS250. I am fairly new to the board aswell, bit of a lurker not a poster. Congrats on the 360, I have noticed a steady increase in the number of Ferrari's in Ireland over the last few years. Maybe 10 years ago you could count how many where in the county on one hand but now there has to be close to if not more than 100 FCars of all types. There was even an Enzo in Ireland for a short time. A friend of mine recently got a 430 for his 21st birthday the lucky Fu...........er. Its a good sign of the times and how Ireland is flurishing for a country with a population of 4 million south and 1 million north.

Hey, great to see more Irish on the forum. I have a lot of family there and I visit Dublin a few times a year. Nice collection of cars you have, you should post some pictures of the 360 when you get time.

I am all the way over in Western Australia. My surname is Kirrane so that makes me about as Irish as possible, I am told. I visited Ireland from England when I was six years old, still remember the rich green hills. Although born in england and moved to Australia when only seven years old I always had a strong feel about my Irish heritage, sort of proud........Like I am about my 328GTS Ferrari.....Welcome!!!!! Tone

    Hey, nice cars!

I lived in Sligo until I was 8, and then Portmarnock, Co. Dublin until I was 24.

My buddy who lives in Dublin has a 360, and he let me drive it for a couple of days when I was over there last year. Awesome car.

I can't believe how many nice cars I see over there these days. They're not cheap, either. My friend paid 30,000 Euro just to register his '99 360 last year.

Damn right its expensive to buy not only a Ferrari but any car. We have a bullsh*t illegal double tax system where by we pay 21% VAT and then 20% VRT(Vehical Registration Tax) on top of the price. Also cars imported from outside of Ireland must also have the VRT paid on them before an Irish registration can be issued.
For a new 599 you can expect to €440,000.
