    Hello everyone,

    My name is Mick Opalak and I'm the president of Lotus Limited Southeast, based out of Atlanta. I wanted to make you aware of some of our events and invite everyone to join us.

    First of all, there is a monthly exotic car show at Giovanni's Italian Restaurant in Suwanee. The address is:
    3651 Peachtree Pkwy # F
    Suwanee, GA 30024

    Its a very casual affair with good food and drink and a lot of tire kicking and chatting.

    This year's schedule is:
    January 20th 3 PM featured marque: Lotus Unfortunately, I won't be at this one, I'll be in Detroit at the Auto Show.
    February 17th 3 PM Porsche
    March 24th 3 PM Austin Healey
    April 21st 4 PM Corvette
    May 19th 4 PM Lamborghini
    June 16th 5 PM MG
    July 14th 5 PM Ferrari
    August 18th 5 PM Dodge Viper
    September 22nd 4 PM Triumph
    October 13th 4 PM Maserati
    November 17th 3 PM Jaguar
    December 15th 3 PM BMW

    We usually have a good turn out with anywhere from 20 to 50 cars in attendance. Try the white pizza, its awesome.

    Also, we have a north Georgia mountain drive scheduled for Sunday, February 18th. I'll have more details in the future. I'll be inviting all of the local exotic car clubs to join us that I can find.

    Not to be too much of a nit picker but by calling the Giovanni get togethers a show can confuse some. Take the poor guy in the Corvette that set up his table and trophies.

    I wanted to invite everyone to our mountain drive that we have scheduled for Sunday March 4th. The rain date is Sunday March 18th. It will start at 10 AM from the Home Depot parking lot which is at the north end of 400 where it terminates just south of Dallonega. The drive will start in Dallonega and end about three hours later in Helen. I'll have written direction with several stopping points so that no one gets lost.

    I hope everyone can make it.

    I agree that "show" for Giovanni's isn't appropriate, but "cruise-in" sounds a bit too, er, American. I like to think of it as a "gathering".

    there is a 1994 Esprit S 4 for sale in FL. high on miles but well kept and runs great. red. tan interior. $18 K . car is in Orlando.

    Les' car is indeed a great buy, here is my latest acquisition, I am totally crazy about that one, 1 in 339, probably only a dozen in that color combo. I'll bring it up to the next Lotus meet. I also rejoined L.ltd.

    holy smokes Stephane.. that car looks great. I believe thats Kirt Wightmans old car. he was 2nd in command at Lotus and now runs Hypersport racing for Rolex team that races a Mustang driven by Patrick Dempsey.

    you done good.

    Brian,

    Tell me about it, that's the best looking British car I have ever looked at. I am the 4th owner, and it may have belonged to Kurt, I'll check the history, I have all the prior owner's info. Unfortunately I won't get the car until next month as I am away most of June. I still have the Testarossa, so instead of putting miles on it, I'll be driving the S4, what a great car.
