I would like to express to all the best wishes of not only the season but for the entire year and the years to come. I hope that all of us are aware of the unique freedoms that we enjoy in this country. This venue is a good example of the freedom to exchange ideas and criticisms without threat of surveillance or censure. I hope that each of us can accept and respect the differences in others and simply get along with each other. This forum is filled to the larger part with interesting and valuable people with much to offer to all of us not only in experiences and knowledge but in exceptionally good personal qualities and accomplishments. We look forward to another year of friendship and activity and most of all, the sharing of it all.

    Dear Mr. Parks

A great message. Thank you. I like to come and look at this section and I always enjoy your posts because the depth of experience that you bring to the discussion shines through. I usually don't have anything of value to offer to the section since I am not a pilot nor am I involved in aviation. When I was young, I always thought that aviation would be my field, but I ended up in automobiles.

Before I got my first car, I was building and flying model airplanes in every spare moment. One of my best friends in high school got his private ticket on his 16th birthday and we would routinely get out of class and go flying in the Piper J4 that he and his dad restored in their home workshop. Great times!!

Merry Christmas to you and all who participate in this section.

    Aloha
    Larry
