John, Thanks again for posting my photos for other Ferrari and especially Dino lovers to enjoy. I will try to follow your instructions in making future photo posts. Not being very tech savvy, I may be calling on you again for assistance! Only one addtional comment on these photos: every time I have visited the Galleria Ferrari (address: 43 Viale Dino Ferrari!) the red Dino has been displayed somewhere on the premises. However, it was a very poignant reminder of Enzo Ferrari's heartbreak over Dino's illness and death to see the Enzo and Dino displayed together in their own room. After my first visit to the factory in 1982, I wrote to Mr. Ferrari and received from him a typed card signed with his favorite purple pen. The note thanked me for my kind remarks and indicated that a copy of "Symbol" magazine would be sent to me under separate cover ("Symbol" was a magazine that used to be sent to Ferrari, Rolls-Royce and Riva boat owners). When the magazine arrived, enclosed was a card in an envelope bearing the prancing horse. The card reads: "With Compliments, Enzo Ferrari." That note, the card and the magazine, along with a copy of the presentation edition of Mr. Ferrari's book "Piloti, Che Gente," and his death notice, which was sent to clients and suppliers around the world (it is framed in my office with a chromed Cavallino Rampante) comprise some of my most prized possessions (along with the Dinos, of course!). How cool is that?! I would love to see a photo of my car's fraternal twin if you get a chance.

    Fred:
I love that both are coupes, not to mention the terrific contrasting colors. I must say I am partial to the maroon car with headlight covers and Campys. Beautiful!

Thanks, Jim. While I like the GTS very much, the ability to look straight through the greenhouse, and the arching roof of the berlinetta, really get to me. I debated about the color before painting the red car. While it is (or was, back in 2002) a catalogued Ferrari color, it was never a Dino color. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Fred
