Despite the criticism the Sports Illustrated swim issue has recently received, the magazine’s cover star believes it’s the “perfect” time for the annual publication to come out. “I can be in a swimsuit and feel sexy and feel empowered,” Danielle Harrington said during an interview in AOL’s Build Series on Thursday. “I feel like all the girls in the world — anybody — should be able to express themselves the way that they want to and still be respected for it.”

I don't follow F1 much but I want someone to tell me why a race team, advertiser, vendor or sponsor will not be allowed to have anyone in attendance they chose? As long as you don't see nipples they are allowed to walk any where. I guess this means that pretty girls in the stands will be next.
I honestly don't follow F1 closely enough to read the actual [ridiculous] rules they implement every season to see the exact language. I would think they can still use women in promotional purposes and fan interaction areas like Red Bull has here in the US showing up giving out free beverages. All of the talk in this thread was about them on the grid (umbrella girls). I don't see how they can ban them from the pitlane and interacting with fans. On the grid, they don't really have any fan interaction. That could be a loophole to see them around. There are also usually two separate groups of women that are used for promotions at races. The ones hired by the event organization and wearing the main sponsor clothing (i.e. Fosters for Australian GP in prior years). And then individual teams have their own like Monster, Red Bull, etc girls. The rule probably applies to the main event use and not individual teams.
