    what is the rule for grid position if no quali can be done.?
    SPEED guys said it is based on car #. i thought it was based on previous GP qualifying positions. or is it the current driver standings?

    What I heard them say on speed is that if they can't do qualifying, it would be based on their car number... Which is silly, it should be based on the current points, if they do car number, Button, Pole, Lewis 2nd but takes a 5 spot penalty, then Rosberg and Schumacher, who weren't even on that team last year, so it's just not fair, but at the moment, the weather doesn't appear to be as bad as is was so they may just get Quali in??? Then, you have to wonder if they are going to get the entire race in, I think a couple years ago they ended a race midway and gave everyone half points.... We will see shortly...
