Beautiful sunny day today in the Lowcountry so I thought I'd take some pics, albeit with an older iPhone. Grigio Alloy loves the direct sun, it really brings out the blue flake in the paint and makes it shimmer ... this is the opposite of most colors on other cars I've owned which wash out and become flat in high noon sunlight and prefer dawn or dusk photography. For such a seemingly low key paint it is stunningly beautiful in person and perfectly complements the soft flowing curves of the 296. The second set of pictures, especially capture the beauty of Grigio Alloy! Thank you for sharing here.
really nice spec, the blue color in the seats plays off of the slight blue tint from the exterior paint. and you didn't ruin the effect with yellow calipers. bravo!
Thank you. I took a chance by doing painted shields on such a small fender but I didn't want to overwhelm the area with yellow calipers as well ... I was going to do one or the other and I think this way it makes the whole thing more special. Also, although you don't see it well in the pics I did the blue calipers which also complement the blue flakes and blue interior tones really well.
Almost got that for my gtb. Stunning color. And I think the seats turned out pretty awesome too. Enjoy!!
I was torn between Grigio Alloy and Titanio and seeing this makes me have second thoughts tho I wanted to try and get as close as possible match to my Dino and also to have a Ciocollato interior and think Titanio suits that better

That looks really good. I had a 360 manual back in the day this color with Blue Scurro (sp?) Interior. I haven't seen many in this color since, it works really well on this car.

Didn't know where else to put this, but another dome burner just came in. I'm actually excited to see how different the experience is from the GTS ... I'll do a comp thread at some point. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
there's another thread going in the porsche subforum about the SRS. everyone is going bonkers over it
Really love my SRS - got it about 1 month after my GTB. Extremely theatrical, and I actually enjoy the process of getting the roof ready in the morning - makes the drive feel special.
