    Hi Everyone,

I had the opportunity to shoot my friend's VERY well spec'd Speciale yesterday. Admittedly it's not my best work as I was coming off of a bachelor-party hangover, but here's what I was able to salvage :)

    Hope you enjoy the pics

That didn't take long; someone pried off the Ferrari fender shields already.
Just kidding, looks very clean though in that color. Thanks for sharing here.

I think it could be better with blue stripes in my opinion!

Thanks everyone! Knew the lack of shields would get a response - I quite like the way it's set up :)

Yes, as far as I know there are two right now. The other came from Newport Beach.

Looks great. But one day he may regret not ordering a factory stripe. Ask Stradale owners without stripes.

Bravo for no stripes/shields. Exactly how I would order one.

I agree...Very nice combo and I would say that there is a nich of potential customers that will never like the stripes. So this should not be a problem .My opinion of course..

i'm sure there will be a lot of people who will order speciales without a stripe. i personally wish that nobody would order the stripe :) that will make my speciale with stripe all the more special :)

from all accounts (and my personal experience) the dealers begged buyers back in 2003/2004 NOT to order stripes on their stradales...said nobody would like them and that it would hurt resale down the road, etc. i hedged my bets (regrettably) and ordered one of my stradales with a stripe and the other without a stripe. it's my understanding that only about 10 percent of stradales (maybe stokpro can chime in with more accurate numbers) were ordered with factory stripes. and now a lot of people in hindsight wished they had ordered stripes.

but of course each owner has to do what they feel is best for them. they need to enjoy their car so of course whatever makes them smile and adds to their enjoyment is the way to go. i just wanted to give anybody who is on the fence about a stripe on their speciale some history and insights that might nudge them one way or other. my intentions are to be helpful. it's tough making decisions like this. LOL
