    Hi all, I'm in the process of rebuilding a wrecked Ferrari 812 SF and wanted to learn more about the paint process on our cars as I talk to body shops.

    Does anyone know the process and products used to go from the new aluminum part to finished product done by Ferrari? Color is Grigio Silverstone Opaco (its a matte finish). I have the workshop manual but its missing some information.

    Its PPG paint, but curious if anyone knows the steps needed so that I can make sure I get as close to factory finish as possible.

    Appreciate any help!
