Still having a hard time deciding on an interior with Titanio exterior. Been going back and forth between all Black vs Bordeaux seats/door panels.

    Exterior will be:
Titanio, shields, yellow calibers and dark grey sport wheels.

Here is what I am thinking for interior:

Want to keep the carpets and dash black. Leather race seats and door panels in Bordeaux. I do like the cabon fiber interior to include both CRPK and CILZ. How do you think the bordeaux door panels would look with the contrast with the central carbon fiber door panels? Or would it look better to have the entire door panel in Bordeaux and eliminate the CILZ? My feeling is that it would look good with the carbon fiber but would like to hear your opinions.

In general, I also like contrast stitching on seats and door panels. However, I am not sure if there is any stitch color that would go well with Bordeaux and Titanio exterior. Possibilities, I guess, would be black?? or grigio scuro/chiaro?? Perhaps it would be best not to use any contrast stitching. Appreciate your comments/suggestions.

Any pics of a Titanio 458 with Bordeaux seats and door panels would be great to see. Have not been able to locate any on this forum.

    Thanks. Al

IMHO it's very tricky to have dual color interiors that don't appear too loud...especially with lots of CF added. Just my opinion and at the end of the day, that's why we spec cars, so we get exactly what we want. Have you considered a brown interior like Iroko. That would great with your exterior color.

I am a big fan of the dual color interiors; I have a titanium California with chocolate and black interior with the light gray stitching. Black carpets, dash and steering wheel are the way to go. IMHO, the bordeaux seats and doors would look just fine. I would go with the cf door inserts and the darker of the gray stitching which will work with both the exterior and the gray in cf items. if you are feeling brave, I would also go with the black vertical inset on the racing seats and a black horse on the headrest.

I think a dual color interior is okay if the contrast is not too loud. I think it wise to either choose contrast stitching or contrast piping not both (I prefer the stitching in an Italian car and the piping in an English car). Which seats are you getting? If you do the Daytona seats keep them all one color.

I think you are on the right track with black carpets and black stitching on bordeaux seats. If you wanted to do grey carpets you could do grey stitching but that will be a pretty big contrast.

Thanks but just curious why you think that dual color interior would not look as good with the carbon fiber, especially with a black dash and carpet. It would seem that it would all blend in anyway, except for the contrast on the door panel. Al

Thanks. If I go with it, would only do stitching. Not a fan of the piping.
These would be race seats but only in one color - Bordeaux. I don't want to do a dual color seat. Prefer to stay with the black carpet. Do not want 3 colors inside. Would love to see a pic of Bordeaux seats with black stitching.

Agree, may look good without them, but I love the shields.
Thanks for sharing your pics with the Bordeaux interior and the CF door panels - very nice.

So you would go with the darker gray (still confused about which is darker based on a pic I received by email; will need to check these out in person) over black stitching.
When I first was going to go with Rosso Corsa exterior, I was planning on black seats with red stitching and the center vertical inset in red. It has definitely crossed my mind to do the same in black on Bordeaux but agree need to see if I am brave enough.

Just MHO after spending countless hours looking at various two tone interiors before finalizing my specs for my new 458 in single color interior with special contrast stitching and CF steering wheel. At the end, of the day, I chose a simpler interior design that I thought I would not get tired of. so quickly.

Bordeaux looks good just dont overdo it (see pic above for the right way to do it) but its a bit radical. Chocolate is more understated and tasteful while black is the most conservative. Do whatever suits your style.

Yep. That stitching will work with the paint and the cf interior. Do it!! Bordeaux is a good color leather but a lot of it is a lot of it. That is why I would do the vertical on the racing seats in black; works well with the cf backing of the seats...man up! You can do it....

You can't get piping on racing seats, so that is 1 problem solved. :)

Bordeaux goes great with titanio. But for me Cuoio would be a very tempting choice too.

Grey and Cuoio doesn't work IMO. Bordeaux is the best for titanio!

Not to disagree but I will... I ordered Charcoal interior with G. Titanium ext. but did consider Bordeaux. LFSC has a white 430 with bordeaux and CF interior and it looks sharp.... I just couldn't get the color charcoal out of my mind when ordering....

Your entitled to your opinion. I'm sure there's plenty of things in your house that don't work for me.

Charcoal is a nice choice Tony!

    Very very nice bdelp.
Thanks for the pic - very nice to see the Titanio with the bordeaux.
Like the way your center console just blends into the lower dash.
Not 100% sure but it looks like you did not do any contrasting stitching? Interested in your thoughts on the topic.

Onno: Really like Cuoio as well. My 430 is Silverstone with Cuoio daytona seats and black leather inserts and Cuoio door panels. Looks fantastic.

But I want to do something different with the 458.

Wow, that 430 sounds like a fabulous combo! But you should do something different with the 458; if you have the opportunity to spec a car like that for yourself, it should be something a bit unique is my opinion.

Best of luck deciding - you're a lucky man!
