What years did the front grille horse appear on 348's. I have a 1990 without one. Just wondering if its missing...Thanks

I don't think they ever were a factory option. All the ones I have seen have been put on aftermarket. I recently saw a 348 with a 3/4" front Cavallino in chrome.

I don't believe that they were part of the 348 package. Mine is aftermarket as well

I have one on my 91 it's original. The grill has a spot built on it to attach the cavallino.

Where exactly is the mount to put the horse on? Where can you buy one, and what size? Thanks

Great idea Daniel......I will order one from you. Perhaps you can share your home made attachment design....

I bought a chrome one from a factory dealer (while I happened to be in Monaco). Very common touch, lots of 348 owners have done this. The horsey that I bought came with the hardware to mount it.

On this same note, when did the horsey on the rear grill change from black to chrome? And who sells black ones?

Black ones are mostly gone. In the early 90's everything was blacked out for that Euro look. Heck, I think even GM made a car named "Euro Celebrity" with blacked out trim everywhere.

Funny how times change. Last night I saw a TV commercial for a "Chrome Edition" truck. 10 years ago, chrome was the arch-enemy.
