..SPOKEN LIKE A TRUE GENTLE WOMEN....AMEN
Thanks, Russ! I keep all three cars inside the garage. There's no way I would ever leave the Fiat out in the rain.... It's on the opposite side of the Ferrari. Here's a shot:
congratulations gary! so nika you must have got one of those leaky usag oil bottles too! so now I know where all of the money from the catalog goes (F1car). he has some nice stuff, I have bought allot, most overpriced, but hey its only money right! rob (who just bought a small f1 wing on ebay and trying to figure out what to tell his wife when it shows up)
xx >Sorry for the cliffhanger > >But let me put it this way - Griot got off easy - >I should be suing him right now. I have a valid case but because >it would probably bring unwanted press and dig into our private lives I've let it drop...... > >I wish him and his buddy well xy >..SPOKEN LIKE A TRUE GENTLE WOMEN.... AMEN "unwanted press and dig into our private lives" = attribute$$$$$$ ie. it would likely settle, as 90% of disputes do. Excellent attorneys adore valid cases, most aprop. if "let it drop" is in fact sporadic "cliffhanger"s >AMEN "Well behaved" women rarely make history
I stopped by their shop today (dropped off the car on Monday) just in time to see them take the final photo for the May catalog cover. It mail out nationally May3rd.
This is a scanned Polariod "test shot" photo that they gave me. This is how the final catalog cover (less text and logo) will appear.
Hey Nika -- I'm wondering what Richard Griot did? I have done a little business with him, but not yet had any problems. Can you elaborate a little more, without going into too much detail so as to cause any problems? I'm just wondering if there's anything the rest of us should know so as to protect ourselves from any potential problems.... Thanks.
Gary, I usually tossed the catalog they sent me, but because I know you personally and your car is gonna be on their cover catalog, I will exclusively keep this copy
Jim, It didn't appear that they did.... But, the car was pretty clean when I dropped it off at their shop earlier in the week. I'm waiting for the weather here in the Seattle area to clear up enough to bring the car home in the next few days.
I am glad to hear that other people love Griots Garage as much as I do. Congrats on getting the cover page. That would be something I would blow up (the picture) and hang in my garage if I made the cover page.
F1 Joe, Yes, I have already talked to Griot's about getting an enlargement made of the catalog cover. I plan on framing it and hanging it in my garage.
Umm, Gary! I think your answer was meant to be "Yeah, and it looks better than it ever did, thanks to the awesome Griot's products." Sheesh, can't even get an obvious straight line right.
Paulie, I was in the right place, at the right time, with the right car! Or, maybe it was just plain dumb luck!
