Well, in spite of your insulting tone and ageism mentality, you have just proven that in the end noise doesn't win!! A tiny minority of geriatric individuals (the kind you despise apparently) can confront motorsport enthusiasts and spoil their fun.
So, you know very well how to shoot yourself in the foot. Bravo !!

The case of Zandvoort, which I didn't know about, echoes the problems faced by many racetracks. Noise restriction is increasingly on the agenda and will not go away. Refusing to address it would be just suicidal for motorsport in the long run.

The adoption of turbo should partly tackle the problem, but some form of exhaust silencing is on the cards. Small price to pay to keep the sport alive ...

Keep the language to an acceptable level please.

This is after all Ferrarichat, a forum for motorsport enthusiats, one presumes, and not an outlet for frustrated teenagers...

Thank you for clarifying. However, I sure hope to God this is not the route we are going down because while I don't mind change the power/RPM restrictions/others WILL put fans off and this is not the only forum where people are complaining. I would say that in response to the news of these new engines 85% of the responses are negative from the fans...

"Those people" As in VIP's and company owners, possible sponsers, etc. that the teams and F1 have to entertain over the of a weekend? The same guys, which most don't follow F1 closely, have to be appeased?

On some things, I wish F1 would just listen to the fans.

And F1 is very hypocritical. They want to cut costs, yet they change rules year in and year out. How much money is all new turbo engines going to cost, along with all the energy recovery systems?
