I know, but History of the World was Mel Brooks. It was a Mel Brooks v Monty Python thing. After all, "...nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!"
STRADIVARI!!! Below is a nice early Stradivari violin ca.1689...If I remember correctly it sold for a cool 1.5 million Hm... Live in a penthouse in some high rise in Manhattan or a large country mansion in the middle of nowhere?
Country Mansion. On the water. Like 30 acres on LI sound in Greenwich Star Wars Triologies or Lord of the Rings Trilogies?
Here is a 1669 Amati in full baroque set up...my dream violin The violin I have is an English instrument based off of an Amati pattern...Made around 1800. Unfortunately Im not much of a violinist , but Ive played some good basses as well. I got to play a Rogeri bass from 1690 that was prcied at 100k! What an instrument!
Lord of the Rings! It makes Star Wars look like a Saturday morning cartoon. French wine or California wine?
Star wars was made nearly 30 yrs ago! LOTHR doesn't give me same goosebumps as i had as a kid watching Star Wars............... French Wine LOTHR OR HARRY POTTER?
Lord of the Rings!!! harry potter is for kids! Buying 10,000 shares of a NYSE stock one day and the next day having it go down 10 points OR Crashing your 355 Spyder into bits rendering it to useless garbage metal?
NYSE Stock definetly...cant wreck beautiful art such as a 355! Chances are if I crashed hte car, I was in it, and I dont want to be in a car accident either Magnum PI or Miami Vice?
That's awesome! My ex-girlfriencd was a violinist and has a Vuillaume, which is the best non-Italian violin. She has been talking to a Strad collector who lives in Bufflo, NY, surprisingly enough. Many Strad owners don't even play but loan them out to the pros. Pretty cool...
Thats what I plan on doing once I get my stradivari...at least after I finish staring at it and petting it for a while Vuillaume violins are indeed VERY nice!
