Just a couple of quick photos for the record. The quality on this piece is very high, right down to the hardware. The directions suck, the are like what you would get with a piece of cheap chinese office furniture. I spent a little time trying to ruin the supports for the stock heat shield. You have to remove the rubber bushings. There is a 13 mm nut underneath, but don't be fooled; it is welded in. Just grab them with a set of channel locks and they spin right off. Maybe that will seem obvious to you, but late last night it came as a revelation. And there is a little carbon plug that caps off the opening to the resonator just downstream from the MAF sensor. There is no way mine would have fit as is, but a little with a grinding wheel and I was able to shape it to match the joint on the box you are removing. It then fit great. you want this to cap off tightly; you do not want any leaks downstream from the MAF or you will have problems.

It looks even better in person than in the pictures - probably one of the coolest intake boxes ever designed.

Couldn't agree more about the instructions. I bought a system for my Lambo Gallardo. The quality of the parts were excellent, but the instructions were totally useless.
