    Does anyone know if the carbon airbox GruppeM makes will fit the 360 spider? Does carbon fiber shield heat at all?

    Yes, the GruppeM does fit a 360 spider. I've done at least ten of these on a spider. There is a titanium heatshield that comes with the intake.

    Matt,
    have you just done installations for friends or do you have a shop? Does the thing actually improve performance at all? Is the unit just an airbox alone or does it come with the challenge style intake that deletes the resognator? Have you ever seen aftermarket headers for a 360?

    Hi,

    At the end of July we will have our carbon fiber airboxes for the 360 available. Ours will be in the Tubi style - replacing the top section of the box. This is good in that it the owner can install them in only 10 minutes. They may provide some HP gains as well since the stock restrictive throat that protrudes into the box is replaced. Ours are also 100% carbon fiber. I'm not completely sure but the pictures of the insides of the Group M piece (on one of the other threads) seems to show fiber glass strands.

    We also are going to have some interesting styling on the box that will really set them apart. We have not yet added them to the website but feel free to give me a call or an email for pricing and availability.
