    Hey All,

I’m considering buying the GruppeM intake. I already have AP Headers, Top Speed Sport Cats, S-Line X-Pipe, and a Mase tune. (Also, the Mase e-diff control module to diagnose/monitor and shut off e-diff to prevent wear)

I just finished a lot of heat management / upgrading heat shields in the engine bay due to 1) the aftermarket exhaust runs hotter, 2) it’s an old car so to protect mechanics and electronics, 3) to reduce heat to protect carbon fiber from yellowing.

Now that heat maybe under control better, I may buy carbon fiber engine bay panels and GruppeM intake. I have not seen anyone publish numbers on GruppeM intake before and after but I did see one thread that someone said it maybe create more power exclusively because the upgraded heat shield it comes with and nothing more.

    thoughts?

Save your money, the standard air filters are fine.

Would love to see actual dyno results, otherwise I doubt you're gaining much (as with most intakes). Unless you're trying to squeeze out every last couple HP for ultimate track times, I'd guess it's more for looks and maybe sound than anything.

Looks like it would make less power than stock due to the flat face of the inlet. Should be bellmouth.

Looks cool but until a true before and after I bet the HP is not much or anything

I’m curious if there’s any difference in sound? My old 3RS at low speed had an amazing intake note.
