    Yeah, I like mine better too. Not as clean, but not red, goes well and has the steering wheel on the correct side.

    I notice in the engine photo there are black plug wires. Ive read the debate over which is correct, red or black but never found a definitive answer. Knowing Al's attention to detail, does this mean black is correct?

    Sorry, posted before I saw yours...

    I think the red wires come with the Design #2 well seals...later with QV is not the 328.

    Grey is correct, IMO

    Sorry but, I have owned my 75 US GT4 since 1984. It came with red wires.

    I checked with my GT/4 experts today and the GT/4s came with black wires. And red wires. Depends on the year, whether it's US or Euro spec and the phase of the moon.
    Or not.

    My 1980 had the original factory wires when i purchased it and they were red.
