1st Please forgive me for reposting this from the tech section but I was getting VERY little responce there, probably could have used a better title.

Well I took the Dino out for a spin tonight and stopped by a friends house for a visit. As I was putting up the windows they just quit! The nerve! Looked in the fuse box and really could not find one labled for the windows. Though I did find a relay as such, I removed it and moved a like one in its spot to see if that would work but no luck there. HHmmmm Didn't want to spend any more time in the driveway scratching my head so I'll deal with it tomorrow. I did look at my workshop manual once I returned home and it did point out some fuses for the windows but the diagram is a bit differn't that whats actually in my car. I NEED BIRDMANS FUSE BLOCKS!!! Any help to expedite working this out would be great!!! I still love my car anyway, and everything else seems to still work, allthough I don't remember seeing the fan light come on either on the way home but is was quite cooler then. Perhaps another clue?

    Cheers!

Did both windows quit or just the one? Look at your fuse box blocks where the terminals go on....are they melted or show signs of high heat? It's not so much that the fuse boxes are no good, but that so many people have been in there splicing stuff in. I replaced both boxes with new originals and have never had a problem since.

Can you hear anything? Sometimes the cable in the door will get slack and come off of the pulley's.

They both quit at the same time. No odd noises, no smoke nothing, I was rolling up the pass. side and it just stopped, so I tried the drivers side and nothing, I also noticed my fan switck was no longer iluminated either. I didn't think the two were on the same circut?

Judging by your description, I'm 95% certain you either blew a fuse or are a victim of the infamous crappy Ferrari fuseblocks. To get it going, clean the contacts on the fuseholders and fuses with scotchbrite and bend the fuseholder tabs together a bit so they grip the fuses tighter. Oh, and make sure you didn't actually blow a fuse.

Then get some Birdman fuseblocks and stop worrying about your car doing this crap!

    ;)

The fuses look fine, as odd as they are. I can here the relay click when I remove it from its place. Oddly I'm only getting 3.7v at the switch and at the fuses? The terminal right next to the window one has 12+v. Whats up with this?

    Confused

Well now I tried jumping from the post that shows 12v to the ones for the windows. And what do you know.....they worked! So it must be the fuse block itself. YES? ......Birdman where are you???!!!

3.7v = roasted fuse block terminals. Been there with the horns on my GT4... Birdman fuse blocks did the trick. Just use spaces when you put them in so you can route the wires through the back.

    Thanks Serg

Do you mean put a spacer behind where the block mounts to the the wall? I'm getting the Birdman fuse blocks, just waiting for him to email me the particulars so I make the deal!

    Cheers!

Yeah, I'd recommend you put a space between the block and the wall. Although after I told Birdman he outta supply one, I think he said he will.. so check with him... but I have had ZERO problems since installation!
