I own a GT Coupe, 2004, skyhook suspension, cambiocorsa.
I find that the car does not stop very well at speeds higher than 120MPH (read: scary), but here we do go to the track, and on the road you can drive fast, but with the stock brakes I feel very unsafe.
Has anyone found a way of improving this area? I think the car is grossly overpowered in relation to its braking capabilities.
Drove a Trofeo, and 'that', does have really nice brakes.

I don't want to spend tons of $$$, yet any improvement would be welcome. Went to racing brake fluid, but that did not change anything as anyhow brakes never faded before. I guess brake pads? As usual a good compromise between the street and the track, and that don't need to be warmed up tons, or that squeal so much that everybody stares.

I read something about a performance chip being available, but am unaware of the "real"benefits

I would also like to dial in a bit more of negative camber up front, but am clueless as on how much, and don't want to try a zillion formulas.
One huge improvement, was installing slicks (for the track) on a second set of wheels, and with the traction control in the ''off" mode, can't get it to brake traction coming out of turns as with street tires. Thus far, the best improvement.

Our track is tight and winding, so better turn in would be nice.

While at it, the car is a bit on the "heavy side", possibly the exhaust system could be lightened up some.

Tons of questions, I know, but I am certain someone has the answers.
The GT, cost me Nissan Murano money, only has 4,500 miles so don't want to spend tons as the tradeoff is not worth it.

    Thank you for sharing.

    Regards, Alberto
