Car looks AWESOME! Since I need the Tip trans, I would love to have a 997TT w/ a GT2 body and power and handling... Maybe I need a GT2 and have the Tip trans installed! I wish I could afford either. Probably end up with 996TT in the next couple of years anyway...

    Congrats on your fine machine!

I look forward to many posts in the future as to how many smiles it puts on your face!!!

Stunning car! White on a 911 just works somehow. I also like how the Alcantera looks "rich" some how on a Porsche. Enjoy it!

So the GT2 is so good that you don't mind spending a boat load of money on a car that looks nearly identical and has many of the same components as a car you already own? There are a lot of much rarer cars with similar performance you could have gotten for the same money. It's really THAT good? Very impressive!

thats abit harsh, the question is will you throw the same criticism to say a F430 Scud or a 360 CS?

Are you really going to talk trash, Mr. No Ethics? Go pay your utility bill.

The GT2 is an outstanding car.

I guess it's harder to convey what I was getting at through that post than I thought it would be. I certainly wasn't crtisizing him. I was marveling at how impressive the GT2 must be. As far as Scud vs CS goes, those are different body styles so it would be easy for me to understand someone owning both. The 911 Turbo and GT2 are the same body styles and he still liked them enough to get both. Again I was simply impressed at how good the GT2 must really be. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Theres no need to use insults from other threads to disrespect me. It was low of you in the original thread and it's incredibly inappropriate here. Really, who is lacking ethics here?

i would say the difference from tt to gt2 is more dramatic than going from 360 to cs or 430 to scud. the ferraris are all gorgeous, exotic, have great sound, and extremely sporty to drive. the turbo porsche is a cruiser that has bland styling and no sound at all. the gt2 greatly improves on the tt

seems i had missed a couple of posts on the first page.

997TT and 997GT2 are 2 totally different cars.
actually they are so different, that one would not replace the other.

when i want to be scared, it's GT2 time :D
