Which car is "better" - CGT or GT2RS?

 

GT2RS is most likely faster, but I'd rather have the CGT.

but none of the 911 variants have done particularly well when people are asking big premiums (10%, in this case)....the market just doesn't support it.

 

Definitely I'd take the CGT over this. CGT is a classic.

 

Yeah I saw that... a bit costly I think...

 

Id rather have a GT2 and a GT3RS for the same price.

$300K for a 911 is some serious coin.

For little more than half of that price you can find a 997 RSR with a spares package. I'll take the latter, thank you very much.

As someone already indicated, getting one for list isn't very difficult. Great car but you're going to lose some serious $$ on that one. If you don't care it's a helluva car.

It is probably the best new 'street' car available today.

However, if you can wait a few years, it will not be difficult to buy a 2,000 mile one-owner car, that has already taken a huge financial hit.

I would rather have a GT3 and Scuderia for that amount.

 

Thats exactly what I though when I saw the price. You could have 2-3 other amazing cars for that money. And the problem with it is that except for car folks nobody will no the difference. With an Fcar its different, even a cheaper/older model.

 

PCNA will not be happy about that one.

Same here,Porsche Exchange has one incoming( GT Silver).
They list it at $270k MSRP,no mark up either.

 

Looks like Cherry Hill Porsche may now have 2 of these in their showroom...
