http://carbuzz.com/news/2015/7/21/Watch-This-Beautiful-Babe-Learn-How-To-Drive-Stick-In-A-500K-Porsche-7728189/ "Car guy Salomondrin is back at it again with his awesome videos. This time he takes a beautiful girl, Whitney Wagner, out for her first time driving stick. However, the first car she learns to drive manual on isn’t just any car, but a Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0. In case you didn't know, the 997 911 GT3 RS 4.0 can sell for around $700,000 these days. So as first times go, this girl has got some really high standards. Watch in awe as she grabs the stick with a tight grip and pushes the clutch in all the way, really hard. For a first timer she already seems like a pro. We’d definitely let her handle our stick any time (wink right back at you, Whitney)." I have been informed that in certain regions, a choice of Black, Racing Yellow & Miami Blue are available.
Are those 4.0 997s really trading for 700.000 USD in USA and 350.000-ish Euro asking prices in Europe? Isn't that Carrera GT money?
Trading? Naw, one or two sales does not a market make. You gotta love the internet. All somebody has to do is POST a number or even say "I heard of ........" and the naïve perception is that this is the current accepted, established, bona-fide value-point for that model or variant. That said, they are in fact selling for more than they have in the past, but IMO this is restricted to very low-mileage cars or cars in desirable colors. I know of one sale of a 150 mile car in that area, and another close to it, but to say 4.0 RSs in general are trading @ $700k is not reality. I see a couple of white cars on the market right now (unless they are sold - I haven't checked) for circa half-a-million.
Silver! Beautiful, I should have ordered mine in that color. This looks like a privately-owned German-registered 991 GT3 RS Image Unavailable, Please Login

Can't put my finger on it but I'm not loving the back view of the new RS...actually prefer look of regular 991 GT3 better. Shame but compromised aesthetics not a good attribute for cars of this ilk. Just IMHO of course....wonder if others think...
