There are always a few that want the instant gratification, but I believe this generally goes away after a few months as production continues

Was at the 24 hours of Zolder this weekend and chatted to Porsche. Seems a recall is on the horizon to resolve the issue.
I just read the article on the 991 GT3RS from Exce11ence #231. Two points three points went beyond the usual "best 911 ever", "PDK is here to stay" barrage: -- This RS has a more supple ride at low speeds than its GT3 sibling. -- After it's cast, the crankshaft is melted again and allowed to cure a second time. Expensive, but the structural advantages are said to be worth it. -- Porsche went through sixty development cars to perfect these two. I'll never understand why these masterfully honed performance cars need to be offered on a limited basis.
