Is Porsche still recovering from supply chain limitations? I can’t get an allocation for much of anything…. Won’t even add my name to the list for GT3 touring. Beautiful car, BTW and almost identical to my wishlist spec. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Porsche should be recovering from the shortage, at least that’s what I’ve heard from senior Porsche official (no idea how accurate is this information). GT3 touring allocations are very problematic, I have my allocation for March build next year, I put a deposit almost 6m ago. I would recommend you to try different dealers and try to secure an allocation. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I have been begging for Porsche to allow rear seats in the Touring configuration since that last one was announced. Dealers keep saying "no" but the new Autocar review of the GT3 says rear seats are an option now. Have you heard anything?
I didn’t have the option when configured my new 992 GT3 touring so I doubt it will be available. Also if not mistaken one of the press reporters asked Andreas Preuninger (head of Porsche GT division) which said that back seats for the GT cars won’t be available. Maybe Porsche changed their minds ? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Apparently Chris Harris agrees Watch "Living With A GT3 Touring - Chris Harris' 50,000 Mile Update" on YouTube
. That is a (991.2) 2017-'19 911 GT3 with Touring Package I think this thread is supposed to be for 992's (2019-present) .
The title of the thread is "GT3 Touring" - and all about "keepers" - no sub-model designation - I know CH's is a 991.2 - I own one (post #12) - The OPs post and pics are of a black 991.2 - Post #13 is a 991.2 - post #2 is a 991.2 - Perhaps you are thinking of another thread - Cheers
That's a good video and VERY high praise for the 991.2 GT3 Touring from someone who tests all of the top sports cars for a living!
