Hi does anyone know of the lube points on a RHD GT4 clutch cable?I know there is a pulley near the cable adjuster under the rear of the car and I have put some grease on that as well as the helper spring spigot but was wondering if there are other pulleys and where they are located.I have a new heavy duty clutch and if I depress the clutch pedal slowly it feels a bit notchy. If I depress the pedal quickly it feels normal.I think the cable might be gripping in other areas.Any thoughts?

Is that one of ferrarifixers heavy duty clutches?? Maybe try to spray some lube,WD40 down the cable. That may help? Could be just the heavier pressure plate fingers?? :D I cant wait to get mine back ;)

No it isn't one of Phils clutch's.I think it is a AP clutch.I think there must be some other pulleys as the pedal is on the right hand side of the car and the cable connects to the cluch on the left hand side.So maybe under the alluminium panel under the front of the car.I think I remember reading somewhere on this site that there was a mod or revision made to the fulcrum or one of the levers that made the pedal a little softer.Does anyone know of this mod and any pics of it?Thanks in advance

Just lubing the pulley won't always remove any stickiness. There could be dirt/grit trapped between the pulley and the holder. This can eventually cause it to jam and your clutch cable ends up sawing itself in half. Taking the pulley apart, cleaning, reassembling and greasing it the best way to cure this.

Please use the WD40 primarily for cleaning and not for lubrication,it really isn't that good for lubing things.............

    HI

Be aware that the clutch end lever can go 'over centre' if not adjusted correctly. This can make the clutch notchy. I changed my clutch in my gt4 and found out that it was just badly adjusted and was going over centre.
