we took both Bertones up to eagle on the hill and did a few circuits around and around. To summarize, the GT4 is a great handling "little" car, the Urraco is a cruiser, coming down the old freeway with no one in sight the Urraco was left for dead, but cruising back up thru the tunnels it was a dream, the Dino is a point and steer car, the lambo is wallowing around waiting for the arse to go wooowee, the gearboxes are both entirely different, the GT4 is close ratio the lambo is very tall. So now that i have both Bertones together we decided to shoot away. BTW going thru town together the Lambo won on the look factor hands down, but we could see pointing and saying they look so close but so different. JUst like the VN commodore and Lexcen..............not Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

awesome! Bloodlines are obvious. Prefer the dino myself. Lambo looks less aggressive from the front, like it needs a deep spoiler or bigger intake. Still looks great though
Excellent photos Brendan and well done on the Urraco. It looks great. It would be perfect with the original wheels as the countach rims look a bit to modern.Did you have any more luck trying to trace down the other original rims? When you compared the two in handling, has the GT4 suspension been redone?
the gt4 has been lowered, which is good for handling in that type of car, the urraco wallows around a fair bit even with new suspension, the urraco has basic macpherson struts as standard the Gt4 has had the benefit of 30 years racing pedigree behind it
I prefer the Lambo's look. The lower shoulder line gives the car a more lithe look. You need better light and a better setting for your pics though - it's hard to make a car look good sitting on gravel with scrub behind.
I have always prefered the Lambo until seeing them both together now and even though your series 2 GT4 is not as clean as the series 1 it is still better looking than the Urraco which I think is still nice. The Dino has grown better looking with time and reflects the best possible functionality a 2+2 mid-engined car can have and still look good. The Mondials by Pininfarina while not ugly were not pretty and not a patch on the GT4 as time has gone on.
Both those Bertone wedges together - Ash has probably just fainted. The lime wedge is always going to win the look factor but it's interesting to hear a drivers comparison. Which one wins in the sound department. The Uracco was fantastic but i haven't heard the Dino from the inside..... yet
very dependant on the exhaust system, mine was crap when I first got it due to original muffler worn out but put a new stainless system on it and it sounded great, much better than my "4cyl" QV
Maybe a little biased although the Urraco looks closer to the Dino than it does to any other Lambo - so I guess that makes me a Ferrari lover after all.
thanks boys, i enjoy your feedback, its just good to own one of each, not quite sure who would have another pidgeon pair, my only consolation is that they are worth more together than solo. it was interesting driving thru traffic today and the lonely cop coming down the freeway sitting there with laser gun watching us go theu every 10 minutes or so, in the end he just waved. as a drive car i prefer the quick response of the Dino and as a look factor i love the lambo. BTW have i told you how much i enjoy these babes..................... Project numero #2 Countach, then will have pidgeon pair with the TR, but could one really be bothered with a car that has no window movement, no vision
great to see them come together, and in such festive colours too! but geez, i think you need someone who knows how to point a camera.....
