What width tires do you have?

I'm thinking of 225/50/16 front and 245/45/16 rear on reproduction 308 wheels from www.superformance.co.uk

I still have the 14x 7.5 inch wheels and 225 x 60 Michelins (NLA) all around. I like the period correct "fat tire" look it gives the car. Everybody has there own personal preference on this kind of thing.

I actually rolled the front fender lips with the preverbial baseball bat (sounds horrible but is actually easy to do and quite sanitary) so no interference. Also put 16mm (5/8") spacers behind the back wheels (rear wheel track was actually shorter than front track). It all now looks just right. Car has heavy steering in "parking" situations, but classic Ferraris are driven by "men" are they not?

As far as handling is concerned I replaced the original GT4 rear sway bar (tooth-pik sized) with a 18mm bar from a GTS.

But the biggest difference in handling came when I replaced the Koni shocks on all four corners with new Konis, set 1/4 turn firmer. (springs etc are stock)

Even though the standard pushdown and watch the car bounce test did not indicate "bad shocks", installing the new ones made a big difference. The sort of "wallowing in the turns" that I previously had attributed to the big 60 section tires, has gone. The now car handles well, fast stable and predictable.
