Okay. In the missions, i need help with Slipstream Battle #3. I tried a bunch of stuff..... I tried to use the inside lane the whole race, but that always leaves me about 2 seconds behind at the end of the race... I tried to draft off the first 5 Skylines then let them draft on me then i draft back on them, but that doesnt work right. What did you guys do to pass that mission? Oh by the way, if anyone needs help, your more then wekcome to post it here and wait for someone to give you some pointers...
Is that in the beginner class or advanced or the other one? I'll try to help... but I can't find my damn GT4!
just gotta keep trying, what i did was pass the first guy and get real close to the second guy but wait for the guy behind me to catch up, let him pass me then draft him and blow by both guys, repeated for the next guys and i won.
You need to keep trying the same thing. Just keep having the people behind you feed off of you and don't have them hit you. The more speed they get the more speed you get.
This part of the game is a pain in the arse. I've tried leap frogging to the front but the other skylines are running so close to each other there not running behind one another, more like a wadded mess. This makes it impossible to catch the lead car in the draft because they are not spead out front to back. How the Hell do you catch a car with a 5 second lead with nothing to draft? I really think the AI in this game is f*cked.
Not to change the topic before the original question is resolved, but has anyone figured out how to extend tire life significantly? In particular I am trying to the last race in Professional Events and I have to equip racing superhards, then I struggle to keep up, and still have to pit at least once. Meanwhile the AI cars can often drive around the whole race with (apparently) better tires and no pit stop. It's insane! Any recommendations?
