As you can see from this link, my dashboard has sagged. http://www.pless.com.au/cars/gt4/images/DSCN0247.JPG Clearly, it's a right hand drive car. Does anyone know of a fix for it....OR where i can buy the new part (or maybe a good one from a weck?) Everything else about the car is so good, i'd like to make that little thing right as well. Thanks
I decided to do a freshen up of the GT4 bottom end while I'm replacing those sodium filled valves. My mechanic has stock of and recommends CP pistons (10:1 compression) I've never heard of them. Has anyone on here heard of them and/or had dealings or any use of them? Any good?
Well clearly, your dash is being sympathetic to your steering wheel. Sorry... couldn't resist the jab. I'm sure you can take the car to a good interior person and have them rebuild the filling. It's probably foam. I had my glovebox re-covered because it had become cracked in several places by sun exposure. They replaced the padding as part of that, because it's what's underneath. The integrity of the material underneath has obviously become compromised and needs to be replace. That part of the dash (I believe) is vinyl and not too expensive. So go get yourself a bid. Just make sure whoever does it, does "GOOD EVEN STITCHING". Some places are not too good with stitching, and it shows terribley on a Ferrari if that's the case. So go to someone good.
