Does anyone know? I can't make sense of this car. http://ferrarichat.com/~ferrari/forum/showpost.php?p=138491110&postcount=3102
The twin distributors point to a Series I car. There isn't a good view of the front fog lamps, but I'd say Series I based on what I can see.
Aircon I looked at this car before I brought my 308QV, its a Series 1. Its registered on the GT4 register from memory? I think I Still have lots of photo's that were emailed to me? You intersted to replace the one you lost? Cheers, Pete
Pap's answer was the best. The sunroof says series2, bc it sure looks like a factory roof and they were (supposedly) only on series1 cars. The glovebox looks like a series1 car. I am unsure what to make of the bend in the shift lever: my series 2 does not have that. Scrolling through the "how many GT4s" thread, I see none with an angled shift lever. Perhaps it is from a Mondial? Doesn't seem to be an early/late dichotomy. Twin distributor setup varies as to country of origin, see the partsbook pdfs for variations. Dino registry here says that it's car number 2 from 1976 http://www.dino-gt4-registry.com/Reg-1976.htm And here's some more info http://www.dino-gt4-registry.com/11908.htm Being that early in the series2 production, I can easily see the car being somewhat of a mixture. Scrolling through the "show us your gt4s" thread, there are precious few interior shots, but they do seem to confirm my above observations. Perhaps we need to start a "show us your GT4 interiors" thread? TheFiatRN
