Had a fantastic road trip a few weeks ago to the Le Mans classic - a great event with some stunning cars out racing. It was my first decent Euro road trip in the GT4 for a while as it has been a bit neglected but it sure did not disappoint. Running hard on those lovely minor French roads was a joy. A one hour dawn run from our rented chateau on the Loire (slumming it...) back up to the circuit with my mate's mid 80s 911 in close attention is now imprinted on my memory. I dressed it up for the occasion with some NART decals to honour the attempts of its contemporary in '74 and '75, although sadly the GT4 Le Mans racer was not on parade. A highly recommended event and we'll be back there next time. Did you park infield with the Ferrari club, I was looking out for GT4s but not many around. With mine still awaiting restoration I went down in my 911. It was a great weekend with spectacular weather. Like you I stayed offsite and drove in each day which was less hassle than I expected if you timed it right!
Great looking 911! We parked infield in the pre-booked classic car section which worked well as we timed our forays between circuit and base between midnight and 0600, as well as popping out for the traditional Arnage breakfast. Saw 2 other GT4s - a yellow one in the car park and a red one with a local friend from home. Thanks for the comments.
I really like the look of your car. The bumper mods are cool the NART sticker and placement are awesome.
