Does someone know if there are usable parts, from a really good GT4 transaxle, to cannibalize and use the internals for a later year 246 Dino, or an early "L" ? How are Dino trans's? What are the big weaknesses that would make sense to bring this one over; of course, provided it makes any kind of sense... I have a good opportunity to bring one back ($1250 for the box) to where I am at, and as I live in the distance, it is not often that I can get a trans. with free freight, over here. I guess you know that there are three different gearboxes for the 246? They are so different, that there are nearly no interchangeable parts. The chance of useable parts from a 308GT4 gearbox for an "L" or "M" serie 246 gearbox are near zero. The last "E" type have some equal parts. But for that price I would buy it anyway.
