    PenP,

Ah ha.... The burnt La Habra car!

Did you really buy that car? If so, I might want to buy some parts from you.

Looks like standard Lucas wiring to me. You can just ignore the colors; once you hook it all up, nothing will work anyway.

No, I didn't buy that car - just a littke joke, that's all. (After reading some of insane threads where people pretend to be people they're not and other people go absolutely bat-sh-it about it, I wanted to lighten things up a little.)

But I DID buy this other GT4 that the owner said was painted in a special "factory two-tone", and I'm pretty excited, because after looking through all my Ferrari books, I can't seem to find this paint combination anywhere. I maybe got the only one! (not including RHD of course...)

I keep thinking that a beat GT4 would make a fun car to strip down for the track, but when I saw that eBay GT4 I thought....it was a little too beat. What bothers me more than the fire is the fact that the thing is taken apart, so you have no idea what parts it will be missing and that gets expensive fast.

As for the wiring? Well, just take those wires out. Put a toggle switch on the ignition, put in some racing seats, you're good to go!!!

Whats' this pile worth. (He is asking $ 10,000)

(I believe the title process will be a pain also.)

This thread reminds me of the wires I had to remove from the PO's stereo install. (I knew I could do much better than this mess)

    Wow!

I didn't realize that it was back on eBay.

It sold a few months back for around $7K (as I recall). Wonder what happened? It's in La Habra. I contacted them before, and they insist that "all" of the parts are there. Everything. Even the badges.

Might make a good project car. Had mine sold, I would probably go offer them $5K cash and see what they say.

Sure would like some of those parts though!

The 308 GT4 wiring is very simple. There are a lot of wires, but they all go somewhere for some reason. That mess in the picture only looks like a mess. Its not bad at all.
    And now I'M NOT kidding.
