    that's what i thought right away, but the .9 was an exact fit

    i believe that a 1.0 could fit as it is sooooo close and the orig design round nut has a slit in it (for the removal of the nut vs taking off the round toggle button). i measured all the orig switches ( replaced them al with replacement lucas switches..)

    The replacement lucas switches do not have the orig design nut......they use a more modern type knurl edge nut.

    Its probabily not a metric thread since the switches are made by Lucas.

    yes - good point, but the .9 pitch gauge fits right on the money

    will have a look this weekend in some of my boxes with switches - but can not promise anything
    you need the split in the nut? for to tighten you not need, but my be for the optic?

    yes with the split in it please....i guess if i have correct design i could make the split and - i will rechrome whatever i get from anyone....

    i thought i saw them on their web site before.....when i looked recently i did not see them

    i may one one for me from GT Car Parts - used orig that, ill find out monday and go from there.

    a few others are also looking on my behalf as well -

    Incidentally, Ed, if you need the washers too check McMaster Carr. They have them in S/S that can be easily polished to look the part... as opposed to you having the worn originals re-chromed and polished.

    i acquired an orig used one from GT Car Parts and it is .9 as i indicated.....
